What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Statement of Fundamental Truths

We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God.

We believe there is One True God revealed in three persons, Creator of all things.

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He is the son of God.

We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Roman 3:33). We are saved by grace and not by works (Romans 3:24 & 28) and that every person can be restored to fellowship with God through accepting Christ's offer of forgiveness and salvation through faith in God.

We believe in Water Baptism by immersion after salvation out of obedience to God (Mark 16:16), and Holy Communion as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.

We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service and that the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth (Matthew 3:16-17) (Galatians 4:4) (Ephesians 1:3-10).

We believe the initial evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues as experienced on the Day of Pentecost (Mark 1:8) (John 20:22) (Acts 2:4 & 8:14-17).

We believe in personal Salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.

We believe the church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin.

We believe a divinely called and biblically ordained leadership ministry serves the church.

We believe divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.

We believe in the Christian's hope-the soon coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in a final judgement for those who have rejected Christ.

We believe in a new heavens and a new earth that Christ is preparing for people who have accepted Him.
